ArtistsOur Gallery shows mainly local artists work, including the artists; Norman Parker, Ed Org, John Morland, Patrick Franks, Dugald Brown, Jonathan Minshall, John Grey and others. We stock both originals from these artists and also limited edition or signed prints - many of these prints are published and printed here in our shop as high quality 'Giclee' images on 100% cotton paper (also made locally too!). Norman Parker is a very skilled self taught artist who paints incredible surrealist landscapes in oils. The work of Ed Org is amazingly detailed, working mainly with simple pencil, illustrating scenes from the classic and epic stories. John Morland and Dugald Brown paint mainly in watercolours, again beautifully detailed pictures of both the countryside around us and the town's buildings and monuments. Jonathan Minshall is a highly skilled and versatile artist who's ability to capture light upon a nude figure, or sparkling across a landscape, is truly wonderful. Patrick Franks works in oils and creates wonderfully precise and bright paintings that seem to bring a patch of spring sunshine to any wall. Jennie Thomas can turn her hand to many different mediums including pastel, pen and watercolour. Here on our site we show some of these artists's work available as loose prints by mail order. These will be added to as and when I can do so. Original paintings are not practical to sell this way, so you will just have to visit us instead!
